Archaeology event at Snowshill Manor on Tuesday, 27 August.

The Centre has received a message from Jenny Bowen, Senior Room Steward at Snowshill Manor. Jenny writes;

Viviana Culshaw, Assistant Archaeologist for the West Midlands has kindly agreed to come to Snowshill on the 27th August to share her learning having worked on the pilot HART group.  I thought it would be really interesting to talk to Viviana as she will no doubt have a wealth of hints and tips.  She is planning on arriving at 10 a.m and I will provide biscuits and cakes.  I have set aside the whole day for Viviana’s visit as I don’t know how long the session will take but if you plan to attend then please feel free to leave when you need to.  I am hoping we can split into teams and do some monitoring in the afternoon so come prepared for tramping fields if you fancy it!

I’m really excited to welcome you all to Snowshill!

All the best

For those who don't know about the HART group, this link will explain. Thanks to Paula for finding the link.
