                                              THE NATIONAL GARDENS SCHEME

The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) arranges the opening of many country house and cottage gardens each year. The gardens of the National Trust are substantial beneficiaries of the scheme. It is hoped that copies of the NGS Gloucestershire County booklet will be available to distribute with the Newsletter and thus encourage Centre Members to visit the many delightful gardens listed therein.

News from other National Trust Regions

Note: details of events in the National Trust Wessex Region (Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire)and West Midland Region (Shropshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Birmingham)  can be found in the 'Near You' newsletter for these Regions.  These two regional newsletters are distributed to the Members of our Centre with the National Trust Magazine; therefore such events are in the main not detailed in this Centre's Newsletter series.]
